Privacy notice

This notice explains what personal data Skyline Index (skylineindex.com) collects, why, who receives it and what you can ask us to do with it.

Last updated: November 5, 2026

Who we are

Skyline Index is operated by Taskling LLC, a company licensed by Sharjah Media City (Shams) under licence number 2536539.01, registered at Shams Business Center, Sharjah Media City Free Zone, Al Messaned, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. Taskling LLC decides how your personal data is used and is responsible for it under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021).

The details you give here are kept for Skyline Index: signing up here does not sign you up for anything else.

What we collect and why

When you only read pages, we do not ask who you are. Our servers process your IP address and browser details to deliver pages, keep the service secure and limit abuse; we do not store your IP address with your contact details.

When you fill in a form, we store your e-mail address and the details you entered (for example a place, a home's size or an estimate) to send you what you asked for. For a request passed to a broker or another firm, we also ask for your name and phone number.

With every form we store which consent texts you ticked, their version, the language and the time, so we can show what you agreed to. We also note how you reached the site: the referring page, the page you arrived on and any campaign tags (UTM) in the link.

To confirm your e-mail address we send a six-digit code, valid for 10 minutes. Once you confirm it, we set a cookie (sv, for 180 days) so this browser can open what you asked for without a new code. You can sign this browser out on the sign-in page.

When you buy a report, a subscription or credits, Stripe takes the payment. We never see or store your card number; we keep the purchase, the product, the amount and your e-mail address to give you access and to keep the records the law requires.

When you write to us on the contact page, we store your topic and message with your e-mail address to answer you.

Analytics cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to learn which pages and tools are useful. Its cookies are set only if you choose Accept in the cookie banner. Before you choose, or if you decline, Google Analytics receives only cookieless signals without identifiers, which Google uses to model visits.

Advertising storage and personalisation are always off. We send the page address without its query (apart from campaign tags), the page title and simple events such as using a tool; we never send your e-mail address, phone number or the figures you enter.

Google Analytics keeps this data for 14 months. Your choice is stored in your browser (site_consent) until you change it with Cookie settings at the bottom of the page. The cookies page lists every cookie we use and how long it lasts.

Network and bot check

The site is delivered through Cloudflare's network, and its forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person, not a script, is sending them. Cloudflare processes technical data about your browser and connection for this.

Text you paste for a check

Some tools read a text you paste, such as a resale offer for a deal check. Before the text is read, we remove phone numbers, e-mail addresses and links; an AI service then reads the units and prices from it. We do not store the text itself; what is read from it is kept for 30 days so the same text is not read twice.

Who receives your data

Brokers and other firms: only when you ask to be contacted and tick the box to share your details, we pass your name, phone number and request to at most 3 licensed real-estate brokerages, developers, mortgage brokers or property managers in the UAE. They may pay us for this introduction. Each of them then handles your data as its own controller.

Service providers who work for us: Stripe (payments), Resend (e-mail delivery), Google (analytics, only as described above), Cloudflare (network and bot check) and our hosting provider in Europe. They may use your data only to provide their service to us.

Apart from the introductions you ask for, we do not sell or rent your personal data. We give it to authorities only when the law requires it.

Where your data is stored

Our servers and database are in Europe, outside the UAE. Stripe, Google, Resend and Cloudflare may process data in other countries, including the United States. We use these providers under their data processing terms, which protect personal data transferred abroad.

How long we keep it

Requests whose e-mail address you never confirmed: 30 days. The text of a message you send on the contact page: 12 months; its topic stays for our counts.

Other contact details and requests: 24 months after your last request, or longer while you still receive mail you asked for (such as monthly updates) or have bought something. You can ask us to erase them earlier at any time. On erasure we delete your e-mail address, phone number, name and the details you entered; anonymous counts may remain.

Purchase records: as long as UAE tax and commercial law requires.

E-mail codes: 10 minutes. The sign-in cookie: 180 days. Analytics data: 14 months.

Your rights

Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law you may ask to see the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to erase it, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a usable format. You may withdraw a consent at any time; this does not affect what was done before.

Every e-mail we send, apart from the codes you ask for, has an unsubscribe link that stops all mail from Skyline Index.

To use a right, write to us on the contact page and choose Privacy request. We may ask you to confirm your e-mail address so we know the request is yours, and we answer within 30 days.

If you think we have not handled your data properly, you can complain to the UAE Data Office.

Children

Skyline Index is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
